The Knights of Prosperity

Eugene Gurkin has dreamt of opening his own bar for years, but his dead-end job as a janitor won't even fund a bottle of booze. In a serendipitous moment, he catches an episode of "E! News" and his passion is ignited. Soon Eugene recruits a group of average joes into his gang, The Knights of Prosperity, for a heist to finance their dreams. The initial target: rock icon Mick Jagger's super-luxe Central Park West apartment.

Barney Miller is the kind of cop we'd all like to run into. Always sensible, he maintains order over a band of detectives who gamble, hit on anything in skirts, go to renaissance philosophy conventions for fun, and would really prefer to be writing. Nearly all of the action takes place in the squad room where citizens and criminals are brought in to complicate the mix.

Set at the turn of the century, “Another Period” follows the misadventures of the Bellacourts, Newport, RI’s first family, who have absolutely nothing to offer to the world, but who have so much money it doesn’t matter. The series focuses on sisters “Lillian” and “Beatrice”, who care only about how they look, what parties they attend and becoming famous, which is a lot harder in 1902.
